New Citizens

For more than a year, Belarusian-born photographer Vitus Saloshanka accompanied and photographed refugees in a caravan camp on the Frankfurt Rebstock grounds.
At the moment, 13 of his portraits can be seen as large formats on facades across Frankfurt. The art project titled "New Citizens" aims to bring those who arrived in Frankfurt from anonymity and give them a face. MARTINCOLOR supported this project as a sponsor, made all façade banners and installed them in the following locations: St. Matthew's Church, Holy Trinity Church, Literaturhaus, WINX-Tower, Kornarkardenmarkt, Friedberger Anlage Synagogue, Kaiserpassage, Schweizer Straße 5, Neue Mainzer Straße 57, Frankfurter LAB , Universitätsbibliotek Bockenheim, Central Station.
